Meet our staff

Mick Siems

Director | mdsiems@lrhc.org

Since the day we first opened, I’ve always considered Mill Street to be a building full of grandmas and grandpas. In fact, I’ve had four family members live here—my two grandmothers, a great aunt and a great uncle. I was hired by Mill Street back in 1995 to help develop our assisted living program and am a certified assisted living professional and a licensed MN nursing home administrator. Community service is important to me and I’m actively involved in the Fergus Falls Fish and Game Club, Pheasants Forever, Sertoma along with numerous health and wellness initiatives through Lake Region Healthcare. My wife Lori and our children, Derek, Ryan and Shelby, have called Fergus Falls home since 1992.!

Krisjohn Veum

Home Care Coordinator | KVeum@lrhc.org

I graduated from Hillcrest Lutheran Academy and went on to receive an AA degree from M State in Fergus Falls. I then went on to Moorhead State University to study Biology and Chemistry. I spent the next 7 years living in the Twin Cities before moving back to Fergus Falls with my wife in 2007. I graduated from the M-State RN program in 2009 and have spent the last 8 years at Pioneer Care in a variety of roles, most recently as a Clinical Coordinator. When I'm not at work I enjoy golfing, fishing, watching the Twins and Packers, working out at 9Round and traveling with my wife, Lindsey. I really enjoy working in a caring profession where I can help others and I am excited to do that as part of the Mill Street team!

Jess Noling

Business office coordinator | jenoling@lrhc.org

I help manage the Business Office which includes taking care of tenants’ monthly statements, answering phone calls and inquiries and being the first smiling face everyone sees as they come through our front doors. I’ve had the pleasure of working at Lake Region Healthcare’s Main Fergus Falls Main Clinic before starting at Mill Street Residence in May of 2017. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, gardening, hiking and fishing.

Tara Wagner

Activities/Community Relations | tlwagner@lrhc.org

I grew up in Litchfield, MN. I attended St. Cloud State University after high school and received my BS degree in Social Work. I am a licensed social worker with the state of MN. My career started with Mille Lacs County working with children and families in the school system and in their homes. After I met my husband we moved to Brainerd, MN. I then started my career working with seniors at the Good Samaritan Society in a 42 bed nursing home as the Director of Social Services, I served in that role for about 4 years. My husband, Greg Wagner is a native of Fergus Falls and as we started our family we wanted to be around family for support and in a community to raise our children. Fergus Falls has truly become our home. Shortly after our move in 2008, I accepted the Director of Social Services position at Pioneer Care Center and was there for 10 years. I have 3 children- 2 daughters ages 12 & 8, and a 7 year old son. Some of my hobbies are enjoying the outdoors, camping, exercising, cooking/baking, and scrapbooking. My goal is help seniors age gracefully and continue to enjoy life. Starting the middle of July here at Mill Street Residence, I have seen the joy and fun in life for the people that live here. It truly is amazing every day!

Deb Forstner

Chaplain | daforstner@lrhc.org

It is important to the team at Mill Street that the spiritual needs of our tenants are met. As a Lake Region Healthcare Chaplain, I am blessed with the opportunity to minister to the people of Mill Street. At Mill Street, we offer weekly Bible Studies led by staff and community clergy, and nondenominational worship/communion services twice per month. Catholic Mass and Catholic Communion are also alternately offered every month by local clergy. As Mill Street’s chaplain, I hope to visit individually with tenants, as I know I will benefit greatly from these conversations, and I hope in turn I can help support tenants through grief/loss and other challenges of life. I am an Advance Care Planning Facilitator, so I can help tenants and their families with education about and completion of Health Care Directives. I can also serve as a bridge by contacting community clergy/congregations as requested. I was born in Fargo, and spent most of my adult life in St. Cloud. I am certified through the National Association of Catholic Chaplains and am a graduate of St. John’s School of Theology in Collegeville, MN. I am happy to call Fergus Falls home now, as there truly is so much to do here! I am single, but kept busy by two very energetic rescue dogs.
